Terms of Use

1. The service

Ternslog is an iOS app by Redsprint Ltd that logs which country you are in each day and counts your days against visa limits and tax thresholds, on the device. Using the app means you accept these terms.

2. Your content

Your locations, stays, documents, imports and reports are yours. We claim no ownership and no license to them. They stay on your phone and in your own iCloud backup.

3. Purchases and refunds

Ternslog is a free app. Pro is a one-off purchase or a yearly subscription, both billed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel the yearly subscription in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies. Everything you have recorded stays yours, Pro or not.

4. Acceptable use and abuse

Do not use Ternslog to break the law or infringe others' rights.

The following count as abuse and are prohibited:

• Circumventing or attempting to circumvent the Pro purchase, including by resetting identifiers or tampering with receipts.
• Probing, disrupting, or overloading our servers, or interfering with other users' access.
• Reverse engineering the service to extract credentials or to imitate the app's access to our servers.

We may block identifiers used to evade enforcement. Refunds after termination for abuse are governed by Apple's refund policies.

5. Not legal or tax advice

Ternslog applies published rules and names its sources. Its counts, dates and reports can be wrong, for example when a day has no signal or a rule changes. Check them before you rely on them. For a decision that matters, show the report to an adviser. Your travel and tax decisions are your responsibility.

6. Availability

Day logging and counting work on the device without a connection. Rules change, and we update them in new versions of the app. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redsprint Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time. Deleting the app deletes your data on the phone. We may suspend or terminate access to Pro features and our servers for breach of these terms, including the abuse rules in section 4, with immediate effect where the breach threatens the service or other users.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to its courts.
